What is LSU Ambassadors?

LSU Ambassadors is a student organization of LSU’s campus. The mission of the LSU Ambassadors organization is to, “aid and represent the University by serving students and families, conducting ourselves as role models based on integrity and professionalism, and presenting a positive impression of LSU in all capacities.” We have created the NGL Convention in order to better serve and maintain Baton Rouge and it’s surrounding community. As leaders on LSU’s campus, we understand the importance of a skilled leader, and we want to prepare the next generation of leaders to be the best they can be! How much does convention attendance cost?

It is completely FREE to attend the NGL Convention of 2024! A key tenet of our convention is free and valuable leadership development for upcoming leaders from Louisiana. Our mission is to ultimately increase accessibility to professional leadership skills for high schoolers around Louisiana in order to produce adept and competitive leaders of tomorrow.

How do we get to the NGL Convention?

Individual schools and attendees are responsible for organizing their own transportation to and from the convention.

What is the registration process?

Registration opens on December 1, 2024 and closes on March 1, 2024. Our registration process has two steps. The first step of our registration process must be completed by the contacted teachers/advisors. Through a secure survey, teachers/advisors will answer key information about their school and themselves. To finish the first part of registration, they will list the chosen students from their high school to attend the convention. After they submit this form, they will receive the second step of the registration process that must be completed by the nominated students. The teachers/advisors will then send this registration form to the chosen students, and the students will then answer questions pertaining to their own personal information. Only after BOTH registration forms are completed by the teacher/advisor and ALL of the students that are attending the convention, will the registration process be considered complete.

When is the deadline to complete registration?

Registration for the 2024 NGL Convention must be completed no later than  March 1, 2024.
